Great Dog Place - Great People take care of the Dogs!
Barkstown is the best!
Tried a couple of the other high profile places but found Barkstown really cares for dogs.
Unlike other kennels where your dog might be handled by teenage workers, the folks at Barkstown are all dog lovers and clearly enjoy having your dog there.
The location is great - and there IS space outside for the dogs to run and play!
PLUS - the bonus is that the dogs get to play as a group - outside and inside - where else is there the "doggie daycare" option - nowhere else but here - open space playpen for the dogs with constant supervision.
This is a fun place to be dog.

Been there DOG that !
Barkstown is small,dirty and has nowhere for the dogs to run and play. ( Did I mention how the dogs urinate all over the floor, due to lack of outside space for them to go).The staff is friendly, however they lack any real knowledge about dogs. I would only leave my dog here again if there was no other choice and it was for a few hours, and even then, I would worry, and don't even think about boarding your dog here overnight. They lock them up in small rooms at 7:00pm and leave them alone overnight, and someone comes only three times a day during the weekend days to let them out. I think someone started this place with good intentions, but they seem to be more into cramming as many dogs in to one space as possible, and collecting the money than they do on the health and welfare of our beloved pets. Your money is much better spent elsewhere.
