This place is the epitome of the "all-inclusive neighborhood bar." If you're looking for an atmosphere similar to The Back Door, only more laid-back and with cheaper prices, go here. It's especially great on the weekdays. Saul pours the heaviest bourbon and cokes in town for only $1.50 apiece.

Cheap good drinks, good service, good crowd every night. Cleaned up alot in the last two years. Good food till 3 Am. Best drink specials in the city sunday - thursday

Horrible bar. One of the worst in the city. Always the same stupid scene kids there every time you go. Good food though. This is one of those bars that tries to be trendy, but fails miserably.

Bardstown Rd. is an area that seems to be in the process of experiencing transition to complete gentrification. Fortunately, Cahoots remains. The bar is no longer a Punk club, but it retains a healthy element of anarchy. It still has a music scene and most of the staff and regulars are music savvy. During the day (the only time I was there), it is a friendly and eclectic neighborhood bar. Cheap drinks!
