I just had a plumber from Davis & Davis come out and replace a 4 foot section of copper piping with 4 foot piece of Zurn Pex tubing with brass fittings on each end. for $369.00!!!! The copper piping was above ceiling tiles down in my basement so I helped him take two pieces of ceiling tile down. I wanting to get an estimate for replacing other lines but since the price I was charged for this 4 foot piece , man I was flabbergasted. Plus he didnt put back the insulation for this work, expecting his boss to come out the next day and do additional estimate on more work. Was I ripped off?
