Dr. Nazar did a cervical decompression on me 10 years ago. I could not use my right arm and was in horrible, constant pain before the surgery. The day of surgery literally everyone I dealt with in the hospital told me how lucky I was to have Dr. Nazar doing my surgery. I was told stories of how many lives he has saved. They were right. I woke up and could immediately use my arm and all but the surgery pain was gone. Took a bad fall 2 years ago and I think I messed it up again. Pain is starting to really aggrevate me and you can be sure I will see NO ONE but Dr. Nazar. (how many surgeons have ever called you at home 2 days after surgery to see how you are doing and gives you his home phone in case you need anything over the weekend.) He did!

dont know anything about jalsma but i do know doctor nazar. i would not be here today if it wasn't for him. he did a chari type 1 surgery on me. he was kind and sinciere, getting ready to go back to him for another but diffrent surgery. he is very straight forward and to the point but after being jacked around for three years he was the only doctor in louisville who would operate on me. can't say enough for him and many thanks. I can't really say whether or not he is a good surgeon. Had a problem this summer with being able walk, took a month and a half to get a diagnosis and finally do surgery. Its now 4 months post-op and I'm able to walk but still in a helluva lot of pain. The last time I saw him he herded me through the office like cattle. Very pissed and frustrated at that point. Probably should've gotten a 2nd opinion, but I was more concerned with walking that doing another round of office visits to a different surgeon.

I found him to be very caring, sweet, attentive and felt so much better when I left his office. He was the fourth neuro I have seen in Louisville and seems to be the only one doing what needs to be done to fix me. I have a bad CSF leak and have been waiting for months for the other doctors to do something.
