My local doctors did not understand the pain I was experiencing and said I MUST have a hysterectomy. Dr. McQuady saw me without a referral, spent an entire hour with me on my first visit and informed me that a hysterectomy would not help me! I am so thankful for him and his wisdom. I can actually live now with a better quality of life. SOOOO THANKFUL!! I advise a visit with him if you are having any trouble at all.

I wish there was a 5 star option, because I'd use it...If you're hurting, run (don't walk) to the Pelvic Pain Regional Specialty Center. After seeing a half-dozen doctors, I am so relieved to know (finally) that there's a place that can help me feel better.

Dr. McQuady is a fantastic doctor who is a world recognized leader in the field of pelvic pain. I heard about him from a family member who had suffered for years with endometriosis and had gone to many doctors for help. She continued to hurt until one of her doctors finally recommended that she go see Dr. McQuady, Medical Director of the Pelvic Pain Regional Specialty Center in Louisville, Kentucky. For the first time in years, she feels "like herself". I have told many friends about the Center and have heard wonderful things from those who have sought Dr. McQuady's care. He really does "improve the quality of life for women".

He is not a personable doctor. The staff is wonderful but he can be a bit crass and pushy on your treatment plan. I tried several treatments for endometriosis and decided to stop for a while and he was very arrogant about me being able to make decisions for myself. When I did go in for surgery he never even acknowledged my husband who had questions. He did a great job on the surgery but his bedside manner needs alot of work.
