I have been a patient of Dr. Victor's for over 20 years, my parents both see him, my children see him. I would trust NO ONE else with my primary healthcare! Now that he has split with the other 2 drs. that were in there, it is EVEN BETTER! Usually can get an appt the same day you call if you are established patient, he ALWAYS takes his time with each patient and gives you the attention that you need. He is NEVER too busy to answer questions or help figure out what is going on with you. He LISTENS, which is something SO many doctors do not do anymore. I used to live in Bullitt County and still drove to Dixie to see him, wouldnt matter, I will never live too far away to see him.

To the person with the refill issue, that was an issue when he was with the other doctors, however, since he has been back in his own private practice, refills have NEVER been an issue. Also, the Nurse Pract. he has now, she is wonderful and works well with that office because the biggest thing there is they REALLY do CARE about you and your healthcare, not just the money.

My daughter has no insurance and was VERY sick and they took care of her and gave her the best of care and we worried about the charges later.

I could go on and on, but I am limited to certain number of characters by this review process, so I will close this with saying,

If you want a place that is friendly, caring, and a doctor that still believes in patient care and patient values and respects you as a person not a payment, this is where you want to go!

I had a very hard time being shuffled from Dr. to Dr. when I was first diagnosed with Fibro. This Dr. was highly recommended to me by my Pastor. They saw me right a way and really cared about what I was going thru. The nurse
Practicioner even took time out of her schedule to personally
call me and check on me. Who does that? I feel like I have the best Dr.'s in the world here and although I moved to FL, I will still fly to KY for my regular visits. Love The whole Staff!

Dr. Victor Shpilberg is the best doctor I've ever had. He takes his time with me and has given me great service. Dr. Victor was my mother-in-law's doctor, and he treated her so special, she lived to be 84 years old.
When I just had to see the doctor without an appointment about five years ago, they let me come in, and I was the last patient of the day. It was around 5PM and I immediately told Doctor Victor how sorry I was to keep him at the office so late, and Doctor Victor told me Not to apologize, He LOVES his job. When someone loves his job, it shows!! He is the BEST!!

I may not be an expert in the medical field, but I did what I was instructed to do and I STILL (2 days and going) am trying to get my medicine. I received a phone call from the Dr.'s office today at 4:30PM that my prescription would be filled. Low and behold I go to pick it up 1 1/2 hours later, no prescription has been called in for me. I even told the office personnel exactly which location and the phone number for that pharmacy location so they had everything they needed to do 1 SIMPLE THING.

Now, 2 days removed with out my medicine, I'm feeling very bad. I'm on an anti-anxiety medication and it's really hard to function without feeling bad. Now, I have to go at least another 12 hours or more without the medicine and I'm having a hard time with it.

I too am a patient and fan of Dr. Abayev. Dr. Abayev is an excellent Physician and a fine and caring human being. I have been with him for 8 years and Highly recommend him. His staff is wonderful. I've talked to "Becky" on so many occasions she feels like a good friend!
