Why does everything have to cost so much. One order of fries is 5.00. I could keep going but I won't. I'm sure everybody who's been knows what I am talking about. I very rarely go because of the prices I have 2 kids and I also bring other kids with me sometimes that is just too much money. Drop the prices you may get more business. More business more money!
You have to be Donald Trump to go to this movie theater or save up for a couple of months and then go every blue moon if your lucky.

compared to dixie dozen this place is a wonderful place to just sit back and watch a movie.

I've got to say this is definetly the cleaniest and most friendly theatre I've ever been to. And I've been to a lot. I'm a military service member and I've been all over the country and on average I spend close to $100 a month at the movies. And not many theatres have military discounts any more but Cinema De Lux 16 does and trust me when you go to see as many movies as i do a month its worth it. The staff is always friendly and knoweledgeable. And any time I have a problem they are quick to fix it. I would reccomend this theatre to anyone. Keep up the good work CINEMA DE LUX STAFF !

Ok. Here is the deal. I work at Showcase 16, and have for about a year. I know things about the theatre that the average walk in patron wouldn't. As for the lady who said that there was nobody there when she went to go see Iron Man at 10:00, that movie lasts 2h & 20m. She and her family left at about 12:20 if not later, and it was on a Wednesday night. We close on weekdays around 10:30 to 11ish, and when she left there were no staffers to be found because most of them (with the exclusion of one Usher) were all gone. And he was off doing night work, such as cleaning, sweeping, etc. The Ushers arent allowed to do anything if they dont directly see the "thugs" doing something, we can get in trouble if we do. We only have security on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights because those are our busiest times. As for the consession stand being slow, you have to understand the quantity of peoples orders. If you order 4 or 5 things of course one person isnt gunna get it to you at lightening speed, but we try to get it to you as fast as we can without messing up your order. For the woman who said that an Usher ased for her ticket, he was probably trying to look at your seat for the director's hall like another said. It sounds to me like all you wanted was a free ticket and you didnt get one that's why you dont want to go back. I love the theatre not just because i work there but because i know that it is a great movie theatre with great food. Chatters is especially delicious and the theatre itsself is just a lot more clean than some of the other movie theatres that you may find out there. I was just trying to clear some things up for the negative reviews about this place because i know how hard the employees work to try and get people to come back and enjoy their stay. It's a nice cleaned up place with lots of kind faces and good prices there not too high. They have good food too there is only one waiter who isn't very fast but he's nice so he makes up for it in the long run. This is the only place i would go to see a movie. It has nice service too.
